Enhancing Wellbeing for Health & Social Care Moray Workforce
Completed: April 2026
Funded & Partnered by: NHS Grampian Charity, Health & Social Care Moray

What this project focused on
HSCM 26 was a year‑long project designed to support the wellbeing of the Health & Social Care Moray workforce. Through 1‑to‑1 and group support, awareness‑raising and lived‑experience engagement, it worked to build confidence, improve digital skills and deepen understanding of what staff truly need to thrive at work.

Why this work mattered
Health and social care staff shoulder enormous responsibility in Moray, yet often have limited time or space to focus on their own wellbeing. This project aimed to reduce stigma around mental health, increase access to support and gather real insight into the pressures people experience in different roles across the system.

What we delivered
Digital confidence support
-
Practical 1‑to‑1 and group sessions helped staff build their skills and confidence with the digital tools they rely on day‑to‑day.
Mental health & stigma‑reduction activity
-
Through conversations, sessions and awareness work, the project supported a more open culture around wellbeing at work.
Workforce insight gathering
-
A staff survey, focus groups and a project panel captured lived experiences from across the system — highlighting barriers, strengths and opportunities to improve wellbeing support.
Engagement across the system
-
The project collaborated with GPs, psychologists, leadership teams and partner services, helping to raise visibility and build momentum around staff wellbeing.

What this project leaves behind
The learning gathered through HSCM 26 now feeds into ongoing conversations within Health & Social Care Moray about workforce wellbeing, digital inclusion and the support staff want to see going forward. It has also strengthened connections across services and paved the way for future collaborative work.
